SOUTHERN VIEW NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH MISSION STATEMENT:
Be Aware / Be Safe / Be Observant
Educate residents to be aware of their surroundings: communicate, observe and report any suspicious activity to the Southern View Police Department.
Safeguard residents through means of crime prevention education and regular communication of information to one's own neighbors.

Village Neighborhood Watch
The Village Neighborhood Watch gets together a few times a year. Guest Speakers, information on local happenings and getting to know your neighbors are a big part of each meeting. Each meeting is conducted at the Southern View Municipal Building.
The Neighborhood Watch Committee has scheduled the following events for 2025:
April 12, 2025 - Spring Fling and Easter Egg Hunt 10:00 am - 4:00 pm @ Village Park
Rain date for Easter Egg Hunt April 13, 2025 time to be determined
May 6, 2025 - Mental Health Awareness 6:00 pm @ SV Municipal Building food provided
August 5, 2025 - National Night Out (NNO) - Police Event/Neighborhood Watch
The Village will hold National Night Out on August 5, 2025, 5:00 pm at the Village Park. National Night Out is a yearly tradition to encourage camaraderie of community and police to ensure a caring & safe village for Southern View. September 10, 2025 - CPR & First Aid 6:00 pm @ SV Municipal Building food provided
October 18, 2025 - Annual Trunk or Treat 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm @ SV Park
December 6, 2025 - Christmas Lunch with Santa 11:00 am - 2:00 pm @ SV Municipal Building
Fundraising events are also planned from the Neighborhood Watch Committee.
