SOUTHERN VIEW NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH MISSION STATEMENT:

Be Aware / Be Safe / Be Observant

Educate residents to be aware of their surroundings: communicate, observe and report any suspicious activity to the Southern View Police Department.

Safeguard residents through means of crime prevention education and regular communication of information to one's own neighbors.

Southern View Neighborhood Watch Committee – 2026 Events

The Southern View Neighborhood Watch Committee has scheduled the following 2026 events.

• April 11 (Sat), 10 a.m.–4 p.m. – 3rd Annual Spring Fling & Car Cruise-In at the      Southern View Park. Vendors, food, face painting, and entertainment. Free event.
• April 16     – Texas Roadhouse Dine-to-Donate Fundraiser. Place your receipt in the fundraiser box at the entrance; a portion of proceeds will support SVNW.
• June 10 (Wed), 4–7 p.m. – 3rd Annual Spaghetti Dinner at the SV Municipal Building.
  Includes salad, entrée, dessert, and drink for $5.00. A 50/50 raffle will be held.
  Carry‑out and limited delivery available.
• October 17 (Sat), 3:30–5:30 p.m. – 3rd Annual Trunk-or-Treat at Southern View Park.
  Free event.
• December 5 (Sat), 11 a.m.–2 p.m. – Christmas Lunch with Santa at the SV Municipal      Building. Food and beverages provided. Make sure to come have lunch or cookies with Santa. Free event.

 Village Neighborhood Watch

The Village Neighborhood Watch gets together a few times a year.   Guest Speakers, information on local happenings and getting to know your neighbors are a big part of each meeting. Each meeting is conducted at the Southern View Municipal Building.

Fundraising events are also planned from the Neighborhood Watch Committee.
